Candyce Rozelle-Williams graduated from Huron High School in 1990. Known with great affection as ÒCandyÓ by her many River Rat classmates, friends and col-leagues, Candy epitomizes whatÕs best about Huron High School. While at Huron, Candy was a three year Varsity Letter holder in Softball. After graduation, Candy attended Central Michigan University for one semester before transferring to Eastern Michigan. While attending EMU, Candy worked part time at Huron until she was hired as the full time Secretary to the Athletic Director, Jane Bennett. She held that position from 1991 to 2003, during which time she provided support for all Athletic Department initiatives. CandyÕs contributions were integral to the administration of student participation in the interscholastic athletic program at a time when student participation doubled, and to the development of HuronÕs athletic booster club. In 2003, Candy married Sean (whom she met working in the Athletic Department) and was also promoted to the position of Administrative Secretary for Huron High School, where she currently serves the River Rat community with distinction. In her own words, CandyÕs motto is Òno job is too big or too smallÓ to tackle. |
